We have two material choices: Fabric (ARMA-Spall) – TPU (ARMA-Guard)
ARMA-Spall – Mil Spec grade nylon fabric colored per your specification and mill-factory coating applied; DWR (water repellent face side) and Urethane (back side). We can pre-apply contact adhesives that are solvent activated or pre-apply PSA or provide plain backed. Fabrics are available in various deniers in roll, sheet or diecut to size configurations. Diecut shapes can be pre-printed with durable inks per DOD font, location and testing requirements.
ARMA-Guard – Engineered TPU film designed for automated assembly using vaccum forming equipment for repeatable, accurate plate covering. The system uses textured sheets that are precut with registration holes and pre-printed.
TPU sheets are vacuum formed over each side of the body armor plate. Durable inks are used per DOD font, wording, placement and testing requirements.
Strike Foams
Strike face, back face and edge foam protection that withstand drop test and environmental requirements are available in four material groupings:
- ARMA-STRIKE – is a 4.2lb EPE foam available in various thicknesses and
provided in sheet or diecut form with or without PSA. This material is
designed/tested to work well with our ARMA-Guard TPU SPALL covering system - Volara ® – cross linked polyethylene foam (6lb density – Type A) available in various thicknesses and provided in roll, sheet or diecut shape with our without PSA.
- Brock ® – 5.1lb density EPP foam available in various thicknesses and provided in roll, sheet or diecut shape with our without PSA.
- Poron ® – Cellular Urethane foam available in various thicknesses and density/hardness options and provided in roll, sheet or diecut shape with our without PSA.
Permanent durable labels are available in (3) formats.
ARMA-ID PSA is a peel and stick hi bond adhesive applied to a matte white polyester (PET) film printable with (ARMA-Ribbon) black thermal transfer ink ribbon. The PSA is a unique UV cured acrylic that does not outgas and provides superior bond strength to many substrates. Labels are provided kisscut to size in roll form on 3" cores.
ARMA-ID TPA is a thermal bonding adhesive coated to a white polyester (PET) film that is printable with (ARMA-Ribbon) black thermal transfer ink ribbon that works in your Zebra® or CAB® printer. Labels are provided in roll form on 3" cores and kisscut to standard or custom label sizes.
ARMA-ID TPU is a black TPU film Label provided kisscut to size in roll form on 3" cores. TPU labels are printed with a white thermal transfer ink ribbon (ARMA-Ribbon). Note: The black label background requires less heat and runs at faster speeds to transfer ink from ribbon to label since ink coverage is minimal compared to a white labels that requires 90% ink coverage to make the background black. TPU labels are attached via heat and pressure to obtain a "mold-in" label to the SPALL Cover. TPU labels applied to ARMA-Guard TPU SPALL cover become one with the Spall cover and are virtually impossible to separate when properly bonded.
Print Ribbons
ARMA-Ribbons are thermal transfer printing ribbons in both black ink and white ink that are designed and tested to provide excellent print contrast, chemical/abrasion resistance and opacity on both the white PET labels and black TPU labels.
LAW ENFORCEMENT
ARMA-Panels – are low profile removable identification panels used by first responders to identify agency/organization. Low profile hook attaches to loop material on vests/jackets and a durable high contrast printed TPU will not absorb moisture and is easy to clean

ARMA-Mask – Peel and stick direct to skin face camouflage patches for hunters. No more face makeup that smears when you sweat and burns your eyes when it runs into them. Unlike face paints that must be washed off your hands and face - ARMA-Mask is clean easy to apply and remove.
ARMA-Tag – High contrast peel and stick target marking stickers and pads that when impacted by a round provide a

ARMA-Patch – Heat bondable fabric patches for quick repair of fabric backpacks, clothing, tents, outdoor gear etc.
ARMA-NET – Expandable roll netting that is a compact sized roll that when unrolled and expanded covers a large surface area for containment applications.
ARMA-Shield – a transparent film applied to glass or plastic for surface protection. Precut to size for scratch and impact
protection for watch bezels or provided roll form for larger vehicle or equipment use.
